Christian AIDS/HIV National Alliance developed a curriculum on Value Based Education (VBE) Curriculum for classes 7, 8, 9 and11. The main idea behind this exercise is to provide the right type of sex education to the youths, based on the seven core principles: peer pressure; self esteem; body & puberty; friendship; good & bad impact of media; purpose of life; abstinence, choices & HIV/AIDS.
CANA has successfully completed pilot VBE in Manipur, Nagaland and Chatisgarh Schools, and currently under the scale up plans
