The other day I asked my 13 year-old daughter Sharon to tell me, why God has created man and women? In a spontaneous way she answered saying, “the creation was to Glorify God”. I then asked another question, why man and woman were created separately? She gave the same answer and further added that woman was created as a helper to man, as man can not do every thing on his own, and that both are complementary to each other. Thank God for the Church and Sunday schools and a Christian family that can educate a teen a simple truth about the basics. Carrying on the simple basic biblical truths to our entire life are becomes a challenge in our current pressurized and perverted environment, where every thing is commercialized and marketed. It is the time to watch and pray. Imagine how easy would it have been for God to make another man, but instead he has taken the pain of specially creating women to compliment man in each aspect of his life, which includes sexual pleasure and procreation. It is unbiblical to think that sex is “only” for pleasure, or “only” for pro-creation. What God has created is the written law of nature. All things against God is unnatural. But due to the corrupted evil thoughts, lust and sin, men were blind folded to see any thing good in God’s creation.

One may claim that we can make the choice we want in private with out affecting others, and if others agrees on the choice consciously and indulge in the same act, there may be nothing wrong in it. The human fall has begun in this same way, as many think it as a personal choice or “Freedom”. This is the outcome of the “doubt” shown in the human mind in the Garden of Eden at the time of creation and its still growing. It questions every purpose of God and God Himself.  So there is no end of human thinking and imaginations. Any choice that we make against his plan and purpose is sin.  The corrupted human mind complicates simple truth, and denies accepting them. The simple truth is God’s creation of human being as sexually identifiable (Gen 1:27 as reads ….in the image of God He created man (here refer as human being); male and female he created them. God created male and female as sexually distinguishable persons with equal dignity.  Secondly, God constituted family as an institution and marriage as means to unite female back with male and have conjugal love, that “the two may became one flesh (Gen 2:23-24). Thirdly, God desires the sexual relationship for procreation joys of intimacy, bodily passion and self-transcendence with in marriage, for He said  “Be fruitful and increase in number” (Gen. 1:28). When Paul wrote to Corinthian Church, he says, “Since there is so much immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband” (1cor 7:2).

Human mind swing like a pendulum from sexual expression within marriage to mutually consenting adults (no end to what the courted human mind can mutually agree upon, today as a definition this has started with “mutual consent of adults”, tomorrow this mutual consent may move to “between different ages, different living being,  between many adults, with in the same blood relations and so on); another swing between heterosexual to homo sex (and bi sexuality); from genital sexuality to generic sexuality. The views of sexual expression to satisfy one’s lust (not love) beyond the imagination and drag the boundaries of the law in all corners till the law cannot control by the law makers themselves. These phenomenon not only destroy “the age old law”, but also the foundations of Family, marriage, and the Biblical standards, that God have defined for the human beings.

The misuse of sexuality is not only against the Biblical principles, even to the human standards, the uncontrolled expressions of lust, put oneself to a lower levels of creations (other than man, no other creation were created not as a image of God, and as a temple of God). Demands on Adultery, Prostitution, Fornication, Rape, Pornography, incest, pedophilia, etc is not far from Homosexuality. One lead to another and all are the expression of the fallen man, corrupted mind that are induced by the father of lies. Bible clearly talks on these issues and condemn all kinds of sexual immoralities, (other than the sacred relationship between mutually married husband (male) and wife (female) to each other and life in a faithful and superior relationship, which Bible compares to “Christ and Church”.

In the context of HIV/AIDS era, the Biblical perspectives are not outdated. Biblical references of Sodom story (Gen 19; 2Peter 2:6-8), death sentences to homosexual relationships (as a rule to Jews in Old Testament-Leviticus 20:13), and in New Testament Paul condemnation of homosexuality (Romans 1: 26-27; 1cor. 6:9; 1Timothy 1:10) are a strict warning to each of the Christians in today’s world. Do not get yourself deceived. As Romans 12: 2 says, “ Do not be confirmed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, and you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. While we affirm that we are on God’s side in our faith and believe on the human sexuality and God’s beautiful gift of sex to human beings, let us also believe God’s love to those who indulge in the deviant behaviors.  As Jesus says to the women, whom was caught on prostitution, sin no more, with Christ’s attitude, with a reflections of His love, we may take every opportunity to support our brethren (As per in James 2: 8-13), with out judgment on the victims of our enemy. Once we are submissive and humble ourselves to listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit, He will instruct us, reinforce us with the way, truth, and the life-which is nothing but Jesus Christ himself.  If you know Jesus, you know the truth, and only this truth gives you Freedom, not by removal of law that decriminalizes homosexuality.
